What will your responsibilities be?
As a Disability Support Worker, your main responsibility will be to provide high-quality personal care and support to individuals with disabilities. This may include activities such as assisting with daily living tasks, facilitating social interactions, providing emotional support, and promoting the independence and confidence of the individuals you support.


What qualifications and qualities are we looking for?

Having experience or a background in disability support, nursing, or a related field will be beneficial. Additionally, we are seeking individuals with the following qualities:

Empathy and compassion: a genuine ability to understand and connect with individuals with disabilities, being mindful of their unique challenges and needs.

Patience and resilience: the capacity to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, adapting to the needs and preferences of those you care for.

Strong communication skills: the ability to listen actively and communicate effectively, both with the individuals you assist and with your colleagues.

Flexibility and adaptability: a willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to ensure consistent support and care.
